Pepe Reina Signs New Deal With Liverpool By Anthony Carter Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina today signed a new six year deal with the Reds. At twenty-seven years of age, the Spain international is now pledging the best years of his career to the Anfield side. The news was welcomed by all Liverpool fans as at last something positive has come out of an ordinary-to-disastrous season (despite reaching the Europa League semi-finals). What I found really interesting was the fact that Reina stated that his family were very settled in Merseyside and that his kids were already speaking English with a Scouse accent, and that another six years would only make them speak it "better". By all accounts the goalkeeper loves his life in England and what better way to top it off before the end of his contract than with an English premier league meddle? Well, all us Liverpool fans can live in hope :)
