Ski Goggles- Choosing the Right Pair Part1 When you are out on the slopes enjoying yourself, eye protection really has to be the number one safety issue and that is where ski or snowboarding goggles come in to play. Just as with a pair of sunglasses, picking the perfect pair of goggles is dependent on varying factors, some of which include prevailing weather conditions and the actual type of activity you will be partaking in. Without a doubt, the single most important factor in choosing the right ski goggles is the amount of UV protection they offer. Most, if not all the top brands of goggles sold today offer 100% UV protection but it really does pay just to double check before you buy some. If you wear a helmet while skiing or snowboarding then you need to make sure the goggles you buy are helmet compatible. A fair number of the goggles today are not, but all good descriptions on the product pages or stands of the various online websites and stores that sell them will tell you if they are compatible or not. If there is nothing mentioned then you can probably take it to mean that they are not compatible.
